• Your baby name will last forever, so pick carefully
• The last letter of your babies first name should not be the same as the first letter of you babies last name, (e.g. "Sam Menzies"). The reason is that the two names blend together and its hard to differentiate the first name from the last name.
• Make your babies primary name, their first name. For example, it's not advisable to call them by their second name as they'll spend the rest of their lives explaining why their name is "John Adam Smith" but that you should call them Adam.
• If the meaning of your babies name is important, consider factoring that into your decision.
• Refrain from using swear words.
